November 29 29 nov 06Goin' out to the Wet Coast!!! So, I've heard from some Vancouverites, that it's pretty cold out there right now. I asked what the temp was, and I was told that it was about minus 8. WTF, that's t-shirt weather!!! Yesterday, it was minus 35 deg, with the windchill. Now that's cold. I guess when I show up, everyone else is gonna be freezing their asses off, and I'm gonna think I'm in the tropics.LOL. It looks like I'm gonna do the drive on friday, so, I'll be arriving a little earlier than I expected. No problem, I just wanna take advantage of the "favourable" road conditions. I'm sure it'll be smooth sailing. And, I wanna warn all the other motorists out on the highways on friday, that there's gonna be a black truck going west really fast, with a driver who's flyin' high on red bull. C-YA soon west coast. November 25 25 nov 06Well, it's official... I'm on leave!!! No more green, no more tan, no more combat boots, for about six weeks. In about a week I'm off to Van city, to see all the Family. I'll have to give the truck a good "once over" before I make the drive, just to make sure everything is all buttoned up the way it should be... prolly do that later on next week. November 23 23 nov 061 more day left WOOT WOOT!!! Tomorrow's the last day before leave, I can't wait, some much needed time off is just around the corner. I'm gonna hang out in Wainwright for about a week, then I drive West. Just gotta do some "medicals" tomorrow, and that's it for work for another year. Gotta run, I'm going to the ballet tonight. C-YA. November 20 20 nov 06Four more days til X-Mas leave!!! I'm the lucky one who gets to leave the other bitches at work! Bwuhahaha!!!! Can't wait... trip to B.C. is getting closer and closer, think I might see if my cousin Al wants to do a bit of 4 wheelin'... I'll have to find his number... I know it's somewhere, ah Shit, I'm terrible at keeping track of phone numbers... Oh well, I'm sure it'll turn up somewhere. I hope that OPFOR will be nice enough to lend me a digi cam for my trip... I might have to buy Dan and Rod a case of beer... jeez, if I did that, they'd give me the whole QM. November 19 19 Nov 06First entry!!! Whoa, this is cool, I'm Blogging. Going on X-mas leave soon, heading out to the Wet coast for about a month, I'm really looking forward to some time off, and seeing the fam. I'm gonna see my two beautiful nieces: Kiersten and Shannen, and have what they call "bevies", I think that meens we're going to drink our faces off until we can't walk or talk any more.... sounds like a good time.
